Biffa is a UK waste company that Anyjunk partnered with to build a complex web application that would manage the companies pricing.
Pathfinder is the tool for that job. It handles the core pricing and then also manages how those prices will affect the Sites, Products and Disposal. There are also tools built in to help quote for jobs and find the cheapest prices nationally comparing against both Biffa and the competition.
When I joined the project the codebase was undergoing a code refactor. The UX hadn’t been a consideration and the UI left a lot to be desired. I led an overhaul from top to bottom and improved the testing and deployment pipeline.
The project is heavy on dashboards, complex forms and business logic.
