A Lifetime ISA is a government wrapper for a first home or retirement. Age limits, contribution caps, a bonus if you stay inside the rules, and a penalty if you take the money out the wrong way. Fidelity’s version sat inside their Invest@Work platform rather than being available to the public.
I led four people for eight months on that journey. We came in and worked on a 1 month extensive discovery phase. Planned the projects requirements from frontend, API and UX. Reported to a large list of stakeholders and dealt with time pressured delivery milestones.
The technology was a legacy system that used Backbone.js and their delivery pipeline left a lot to be desired but we managed to work our way through it.
The project was delivered in 9 months which was our initial estimation.
